Reflection

Perseverance, Applying Knowledge to New Situations, and Striving for Accuracy are three of the prominent ideals to success.  Perseverance begins with determination. For instance, not allowing failure to intervene with the process of becoming successful; that’s the only way to improve and learn. To keep on going, is getting one step closer to achieving the desired results. My excessive anxiety for example, has made me contemplate my stay in college. But, because i want to have a successful life, i have to keep on pushing through despite the obstacles i encounter. “Applying Knowledge to New Situations” is to utilize former knowledge and applying it to another.Although the problem may seem greater, you must dig deeper and they’ll turn out to be less complex than it appears. For example, i was the last single’s player in my tennis match and it was up to me to break the tie.I was exhausted after long hours of playing but, I recalled the immense satisfaction of previous victories so i resisted. “Striving for Accuracy” comes along with a strong growth mindset. This allows individuals to keep a positive open mind; there is always room for improvement. Dedication and hard work will pay off rather than believing you'll stay how you are. Aspiring to transfer to Berkeley, having a strong growth mindset will contribute to the development of my skills and knowledge-- thus help me succeed in my academics. Striving for accuracy will only function properly if handled with infinite amount of hard work. The benefits of these three habits of mind have and will continue to help approach problems at different angles; it’ll make the process smoother and less complex.
